Celebrating Motorsport at Langley Park

The HSV Owners Club WA was proud to be part of this year's Celebration of Motorsport event at Langley Park, with members coming together to showcase their vehicles and share their passion for Australian performance motoring with the wider community.

A total of 14 HSVs were on display throughout the day, ranging from the early VN SV89 to the last model VF GTSR W1. The club's display attracted plenty of interest from event attendees, with many stopping to admire the cars and chat with members about their vehicles.

As always, the event provided a wonderful opportunity for members and their families to get together in a relaxed and friendly environment. The atmosphere throughout the day was welcoming and casual, making it a great occasion to catch up with fellow enthusiasts, meet new people, and celebrate our shared love of motoring.

One of the highlights of the day was the club-provided BBQ lunch, which gave everyone a chance to take a break, enjoy some food, and spend time socialising with fellow members. The strong sense of community and camaraderie on display was a great reminder that the HSV Owners Club WA is about much more than just the cars.

The success of our display would not have been possible without the support of our members. A special thank you goes to everyone who brought their vehicles along for display and to those who generously gave their time throughout the day to assist with setup, pack down, and helping visitors learn more about our club and the HSV brand.

Events like the Celebration of Motorsport provide a fantastic opportunity to showcase the passion, pride, and enthusiasm of our members while promoting the HSV Owners Club WA to the broader motoring community.

Coming up:

BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLE: On the 30th of October (Halloween) we have a great incentive lead by the President, the club is hosting our own Bunnings Sausage Sizzle at the Homebase Subiaco location. We will be raising funds for the club to put towards subsidising future events to help add value for our members.

We are keen to have come cars on display and are looking for members to volunteer for a 2 hour shift to help on the day. Can be serving punters on the till, or manning the snags and onion cooking.

Please get in touch to register interest to help on the day, and if you want to bring your HSV that would be awesome and appreciated.

CHRISTMAS PARTY: The committee have organised a family friendly Christmas Party for this year. Check out the website for details, this year will be a relaxed and very enjoyable day with prizes for motorsport and social member. Grab your family and mates and come celebrate the year in comfort and style.
