I joined the club back in the early 90’s when we used to meet at Melville Motors, Canning Hwy in Attadale (member number 24 to be precise) and been involved on and off in the club ever since then. I see the future of the club having a balance between motorsport and social activities so that we have a great mix of cars, members, and events each year.

My day job, I am the CEO of 777 Group running the Australia wide pharmacy operations plus various other Board positions around town.

Cars are a passion, my wife and son are very patient to put up with my many excuses for owning so many loud FUN cars.

The HSV club and motorsport I consider my “third space” and fun outlet; my car history is varied having driven Holden V8’s since the age of 20, my second car was a VK Calais Director then an 88 Walkinshaw and moving on to own every HSV product/ model ever since.

Presently my membership cars are a VF GTS, a rare VT II GTS 300, and my old favourite VK Brock plus the newly completed, VX Clubsport, LS 7 equipped tarmac rally car.

I am easy to spot in the club; I will be the one with 777 plastered all over my car, with the shiniest paint (neat freak).

I joined the club in 2012, I have spent most of that time on the committee performing the roles of General Helper, Memberships, Vice President and President.

I am a strong believer in the club and what it can offer it's members, and therefore my current roles as Vice Prez & Memberships officer are well suited.

Being a director of an IT Company ( JAF Solutions) I assist with the IT side of the Club too and recently rebuild the website.

I found out about the club and joined in August 2022 as an associate with the plan to get involved in Motorsport as well as attending some of the social events along the way. The car I joined with as an associate is a Toyota GR Yaris Rallye, but having been a lifelong Holden and HSV fan and owner, it didn't take long for me to gravitate towards a V8 powered track weapon. Now the proud custodian of a very special club car, Tarmac Rally spec VH SS "XV2", I'm entering every event I can and loving it! After 6 months in the club, I upgraded from associate to full member with the purchase of a VR Maloo.

When I join a club or volunteer organisation, I'm keen to get involved and help where I can, so I joined the committee as a general helper after less than 12months in the club and looking forward to continuing to give back with the club in my new role as secretary.

Current Club Cars are VH SS "XV2", VR Maloo, VS Series 3 Maloo with Roller Cam engine, VF2 SSV Redline Ute which was built in the last month of Holden's production and the little GR Yaris Rallye which still sees the occasional track day duties to keep the big bangers honest :-P

When I'm not involved in motorsport and club events, I am running my business providing vessel management, maintenance and client support services for luxury vessels and their owners. This sees me travelling locally, nationally and sometimes internationally to project manage new builds, inspect, test and assist with delivery vessels for mostly WA based clients.

I joined the HSV club in June 2020 after owning my VX Clubsport R8 for 3 and a half years and finally deciding it should be enjoyed and driven more, rather than hiding under covers in the garage. I have always loved cars, having owned nearly 30 in my 20 years of driving. I have always been a Holden V8 fan, from when I was a kid and first got an understanding of different vehicles. I spent a lot of time and money modifying all shapes and sizes of cars from a Subaru WRX STI to 100 series Landcruiser and many cars in between. Currently, besides the VX, I also own a 2013 VF SSV W310 wagon and a Subaru Forester turbo. Fun fact, I have never owned a Ford of any kind.

Previously, I helped run all aspects of the Perth-WRX car club, from forum administration and moderation, organising motorsport events, cruises and meets, merchandise and trips away. I successfully took the club to its 4th Motorvation champion trophy in a row in 2008, where I organised the entire weekend for the club and its members and the 20 odd participants.

I rarely take a back seat to anything I am involved in, so I decided after only 9 months in the HSV club, that it was something I wanted to get involved with and help out with and was nominated to the Memberships Committee position in April 2021, partially filling the gaping hole left by Jamie Gilbert. In 2022 I moved across to the secretary role and the social events coordinator role as well.

Outside of the club, I work for GHD Engineering Consultants as a Senior Survey Project Director, where I have been employed since 2007. I am a father to 3 kids and spend a lot of my spare time volunteering with my wife at motorsport events such as Targa West, Targa South West, Forest Rally and other WARC events with Team Hotel.

My wife and I met through our involvement in both Perth-WRX and through official duties at Targa West in 2010. She is very understanding of my passion for cars, but hates that I buy and sell cars so often, however, I have slowed down a bit with that these days (at least I think so)

I look forward to spending years helping with the HSV Owners Club. I look forward to meeting many of you out and about. See you out there.

I joined this great club in 1991, I think, member No 35 so Jason Brotherson has me covered there. I am lucky enough to be one of 3 life members currently and cherish that title immensely. I enjoy everything about what the owners club stands for and love the competition side of things and always have.

I have owned a couple of genuine HDT/HSV’s over the journey but decided early on that they are too good to modify so bought my beloved VK Blue Meanie which started as a beautiful street car replica and I have slowly but surely converted it into a trailer-sailer track only monster.

See you at the track!!!

Hi everyone! I am the very proud owner of an E2 Clubby. She is my first but hopefully not my last HSV. I joined the club in 2017 mostly with the intention of going along on a few cruises and maybe displaying in show-n-shines. Just a couple of years later and here I am a fully-fledged member of the committee.

Away from the club I am a Branch Coordinator/Administrator for a large Australian owned workplace needs company. So if you are ever in need of stationery I am the person to see.

Very much looking forward to being the Merchandise Officer and hopefully getting to know as many members as possible

I joined the Club in 1999 as an Associate Member, converting to an Ordinary Member after 10+ years of continuous Membership & was then awarded the honour of Life Membership in 2022. The car I joined with was a VP SS Commodore which I have owned since 1996, starting off as my everyday driver until eventually transitioning into a track car a few years ago I completed an LS1/T56 transplant into it after the 5 litre finally had enough.

It wasn’t long after I signed up that I joined the Committee as the Associate Rep and then also filling positions such as Editor and then Motorsports Results, which I will be doing again this year after a short stint as a General Committee Member.

I am married to wife Karen and have a 20 year old daughter and soon to be 18 year old son, who shares my interests in Motorsports, but hasn’t asked for the keys to the VP……yet……

Away from the Club I work for Emerson as an Account Manager for an Industrial Valve Manufacturer, spending my days looking after clients such as Alcoa, BHP Nickel, CSBP……basically any major resource company along the Kwinana Industrial Strip.

My role will include formulating the Club event results and juggling the Members cars into the appropriate groups, so if you have any questions at all on how it all works, just get in touch!

I have been an Associate member of the club for many years campaigning in an Alfa Romeo GTV6 Street Car and later a caged Red Alfa GTV 6 .

I have always felt welcomed even though I didn’t own a Holden or an HSV. There is always good comradery and encouragement at the events.

I work for Position Partners, a Construction automation company specialising in the survey side of machine control. I also Help out Bernard at Cecchele Motors Classic car tuning.

It is good to finally give back to the club and join the committee as the Associate representative. As your representative, I am available to discuss any concerns or recommendations that you may have and forward them to the committee.

G’day to you. Having now completed 3 years as President, I'm now stepping back to let others take control of the Club. I am remaining on the Committee as a volunteer, as I strongly believe in the adage Act, Belong, Commit. Sometimes called GA or Pappa Smurf, I’ve been in the Club since 1992. During that time, I’ve had a HSV Walkinshaw and a HDT VL Group A, these days I trundle around in one of the last CV8Z Monaros made. I tend to keep my cars in original condition and enjoy them as they were built, rather than them “bigger and better than the next guy”.

The HSVOCWA has been a large part of my life for the last 25 years, during which time I’ve been to the Nationals, competed in Classic Rallys, Tarmac Targa Rallys (both here and interstate) along with the many events that the Club has successfully organised and run over the years. In 2017, I retired after working at UWA for the last 31 years apparently this was supposed to give me more “free” time to do the things I wanted to do – Ha! What I hope to be able to do is spend more time with the wife, Jenni, of course and more time enjoying the company of the great friends I made in the Club.
