We have an Associate Membership, which allows non HSV Owners to join the Club, and enjoy the various events we run.
Yes, the HSV Club of WA is an Official Club, we are registered with ASIC as a non for profit association (Registration number: A1001761N - ABN 59 136 297 553), we are backed by the Walkinshaw Group (The owners of the HSV Brand), and have Affiliations for both Social and Motorsport, being with Council of Motoring Clubs of WA, AASA
Membership is 12 months, reminders will be sent to you, it also possible to subscribe for more than 1 year at discounted rates.
The Club is an Authorised inspector and approver for the 404 Vehicle Concession Licences
The Veteran/Vintage/Post Vintage/Invitational Vehicle Concession was introduced in 1964 upon request from the Veteran Car Club of Western Australia to encourage the restoration and preservation of historic vehicles. Maintenance of the manufacturers original specification is one of the cornerstones of historic vehicle preservation and a key objective of the concession.
Owners of vehicles licensed with a 404 concession code are solely responsible for maintaining their vehicle in an original unmodified condition and remaining a financial member of a Department of Transport (DoT) approved historic motoring club in order to be eligible for the concession.

The club enjoys a variety of motorsport events including: Motorkhanas, Drag Racing (Motorplex); Sprint Events (Barbagallo Raceway & Collie ); and Hill Climbs.
All our motor sport events culminate towards a club championship each year in which all our active members are competitively involved.
You can use whatever car you want for our motorsport events as long as it complies to the regulations which are associated with the event.
Please email us first with your preferred number ( up to 4 numbers ) or we can email you the complete list of numbers available if you want to look through.
Price per set will is $250.00, which represents great value compared to other custom plate sets available from Dept of Transport.
NOTE :
- You MUST be a member of the HSV Owners Club of WA to request a number plate.
- Plates are issued under the Club name, a transfer fee will be payable upon collection to transfer the “Right to Display” into your own name.
- Current (2020) transfer fee is $96 , Department of Transport VL176 form is required to be completed by buyer and Club Representative. Please check DoT website for any possible updated fee.
