As we roll into another Annual General Meeting, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what has been an incredibly busy, diverse, and rewarding 12 months for the HSV Owners Club of WA.
This past year has truly showcased what our club is all about — great cars, great people, and a strong sense of community. From early morning cruises through the Swan Valley, to show-stopping displays at local events, and even stepping outside the norm with some adventurous outings, the club has continued to evolve and grow.
We’ve seen fantastic turnouts across multiple events, including cruises, car shows, social nights, and new concepts like our quiz night, which proved to be a huge success and something a little different for members to enjoy. Our presence at events continues to grow stronger, with our displays looking more professional than ever — a real credit to the pride our members take in their vehicles and the club.
A standout highlight over the past couple of months was our Cars & Coffee cruise, which delivered a great turnout despite less-than-ideal weather, proving once again that nothing keeps HSV owners away for long. Likewise, our social events have continued to build momentum, bringing members together both on and off the road.
This past month saw a change of pace for the club, as we ventured out to Ledge Point for something a little different. With the rising cost of fuel (especially diesel), we certainly picked the right time to lock this one in. It turned out to be an absolute cracker of a day — sun, sand, dunes, and plenty of great 4WD action. After making the most of the dunes, the group rolled into Seabird for a relaxed pub lunch, wrapping up the day perfectly. It was a great reminder that while our roots are in HSV performance cars, the club is ultimately about getting out, enjoying our vehicles, and spending time together.
None of this happens without the incredible effort behind the scenes, and a special mention must go to the entire HSVOCWA committee. The time, energy, and dedication that goes into organising events, managing the club, and keeping everything running smoothly does not go unnoticed. It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside such a committed and passionate group of people, all working towards the same goal — making this club the best it can be for its members.
As we head into the next 12 months, there’s plenty more to look forward to. With new ideas, fresh events, and continued member engagement, the future of HSVOCWA is looking strong.
Thank you to all our members for your ongoing support, participation, and enthusiasm — you’re what makes this club what it is.
Here’s to another big year ahead.
