This month the HSV Owners Club of WA fired things back into life with a relaxed Sunday catch-up at the stunning Kings Park. With Perth turning on a magic morning, our members rolled in, coffees in hand and keys at the ready, for the perfect way to dust off the pride and joys after the holiday break.

There’s something special about seeing a line-up of HSV machinery with the city skyline in the background. Plenty of parking meant no excuses — the cars got a proper stretch of the legs and a well-earned Sunday cruise. Great coffee, great breakfast, and even better company… the ideal way to kick off another big year for the club.

Behind the scenes, your Social Team has been anything but idle. Preparations are well underway for next month’s visit to our valued club sponsors, Cecchele Motors and Autohaus Storage. A recent reconnaissance visit (strictly business of course 😉) confirmed their facilities are a fantastic fit for our upcoming AGM. If you think you know what an AGM looks like… think again. This year’s event is shaping up to be a night with a difference — more atmosphere, more entertainment, and more reasons to attend.

The Social Committee has also been hard at work mapping out this year’s social calendar. After learning plenty from last year, we’re building a dynamic lineup of cruises, show ’n’ shines, motorsport outings and social evenings designed to keep the tyres warm and the friendships even warmer. Now all we need is the weather gods to cooperate!

Got an idea for a cruise route? A cars & coffee location? A show ’n’ shine venue? Don’t keep it in the glovebox — share it with us in person or via email. With the formation of a new Social Sub-Committee at this year’s AGM, the club’s social scene is set to shift up a gear and grow in leaps and bounds.

We also had the privilege of attending the first motorsport rounds of the year, seamlessly integrating with another club for a brilliant day of on-track action. A fresh format, fantastic weather, and plenty of racing drama made for top-tier spectating and great camaraderie in the paddock.

The Social Committee is pumped for the road ahead and looks forward to providing members with plenty of opportunities to get involved, meet new mates, and enjoy everything that makes this club so special.

Engines on. Calendar ready. Let’s make 2026 a year to remember. 🔥🚘
