Social Events Are Back on the Road for 2026

After a well-earned pit stop over December and January, the club’s social calendar is back in gear for the year ahead. We hope everyone enjoyed a great Christmas and New Year and managed to recharge, whether that meant time with family, friends, or a bit of quality time in the garage.

We’re kicking things off with our first social event of the year on Sunday 1 February, rolling into 2026 with a relaxed Cars & Coffee at Kings Park. It’s an easy, cruisy way to get the year started, catch up with fellow members, and enjoy some great cars in one of Perth’s best settings.

Behind the scenes, a full social calendar for 2026 has already been mapped out, with a wide mix of events planned throughout the year. With the addition of the Social Sub-Committee, you can expect a broader range of social drives, meet-ups and family-friendly events, along with some fresh ideas in how those events are run. The aim is to keep things interesting, inclusive, and enjoyable for all types of car enthusiasts within the club.

If you’d like to help steer the social side of the club, nominations for the Social Sub-Committee are now open. Please get in touch with any of the current committee members if you’re interested, and ideally before the AGM. Many hands make light work, and more input means better events for everyone.

The committee is also putting together another member survey focused on the club’s social activities. When it’s released, we encourage all members to have their say. Your feedback helps ensure the social calendar reflects what members actually want to see and take part in.
