Evening all, we are in full blown car show season!
First edition of Cool Cars and Coffee went well with over 25 cars in attendance. Not many friends of club members this time, so we can work on that for next time! Apart from the venue being closed, the weather and turnout made for a great morning. We will be running the second edition early in the new year, so keep an eye out!
The HSV Dyno day at BYE was another success. 15 cars showed up and ran their numbers. I was impressed with what the old VX pushed out after a few mods and a tune this year I gained 30hp/40nm, which makes me happy! Thank you to Chantelle for her work organising the event and to BYE or for hosting.
This weekend is the Joondalup Festival of Motoring. Saturday is cars and coffee followed by cocktails and coffee and Sunday is the Automotive World car show and the motorsport event. Several members are involved, in both the motorsport and the show events. Feel free to come down for any of the Saturday events (they are just rock up style events) or come check out the Sunday events and say hi!
The first weekend of November is the South West Cruise #2 to Albany. There's still time to book a room and join us. Speak to me for more.
Following that is the GM Owners Day, and entries still open to join us with your car on display. As the HSV Owners Club of WA, it would be good to have a variety of cars on show.
