Hopefully most of the wet and cold weather is behind us and we are in for a ripper end to the year which is fast approaching.September there is a Jack's Hillclimb with our friends at the TSOA, its not a round of the club championship but you are more than welcome to attend & compete if you so desire.
October sees us return to Wanneroo (Carco) Raceway for our last competitive day there for the year. Entries and all event info will go live very soon so don't hesitate to get your entry in for this one. We need a big turn out to keep these types of events going next year. With all the cost of living crisis talk at the moment, you can expect heavy pressure on the club to try and deliver value for money and its becoming increasingly hard to justify the financial risk of these events without the members showing support in the way of event entries.
November sees the annual Collie Cup huge double header weekend and this is simply a must do for any member. Its a social event wrapped up in a two day motorsport event with action both days, a casual and fun half day hillclimb on Saturday followed by the full long circuit sprint Sunday. Most members camp at the track, there is great facilities onsite, BYO camping gear and come down just to enjoy the atmosphere of a great weekend away.
The annual passenger Ride day rounds out motorsport events for the year in early December and this is your chance to take family/friends/work colleagues out for a run in your pride and joy on Wanneroo (Carco) Raceway. Its a casual non-competitive day and is really the only chance all year you get to take passengers in the car.
