Hi All
The year is fast coming to an end, as I type, its 6am and I am about to set off to tackle the famous Collie Cup double header. It will be a another fantastic weekend of fun & motorsport with 47 entrants for the sprint on Sunday. This is the last competitive event for the year.
The ride day is the only other motorsport event which will go live for entry's next week, make sure you get in fast as there are limited spots due to the pitlane capacity to physically fit everyone in.
2024 is shaping up to be a big year with the calendar of events coming together nicely. This will be published hopefully around the end of November so stay tuned. There is one change to the norm and that is that AASA will no longer accept entrants running with a MA Licence, this means all people entering our club events next year will need to buy a AASA basic speed licence to compete. Its a relatively cheap and easy process so i urge you to sign up for one around Christmas or January so you are covered for the full event calendar year.
You are more than likely going to have to keep your MA licence as well due to our partner clubs at this stage staying with MA so all their events, you guessed it, you will need an MA licence to enter.
Its a bummer but hopefully all clubs can get on the same page - read move to AASA - and it will become much easier.
