2023 - September - Motorsport Results

Hi all,

Since my last report, we have now completed up to round 6 in our Club Championship, with just one more event at the Wanneroo Circuit and then down to Collie to finish off with the traditional Double Header event. The Collie weekend also features the well sought after Collie Cup, Chad Reeves will be looking to add to his collection and stop Aaron Stevenson from adding to his!

After the last 2 events, first and second in the Full Members Club Championship is only separated by 2 points with 3 rounds to go, with Doug in third place. Whoever wins the “Big Trophy” may come down to the wire at the last event with consistency points more important than even.

The Associates Championship is wide open, Mike and Adrian have let the pack catch them up a bit with not running at the last couple of events. I have managed to sneak into second place currently but don’t expect to stay there long with the probable return of these 2 guys to compete at the last 3 events for the year.

Full results from recent rounds and the current Championship Points standings for all groups are included in this edition of the Club Magazine.

I am aiming to bring all the PB lap times on the website up to date between now and the next event, and update the Wanneroo and Collie times on the Club Database so that these are all current.

I may be a little rusty after some time away from doing the results, so if you think you are in the wrong group or need some help to understand how the groups and points work, please get in touch or have  a chat to me at the monthly meeting!
