It's has been a good month, we were hosted by the Motor Museum of WA in a guided tour of the museum. It was a good, family event with nearly 40 people in attendance. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, so the numbers of cars on display was a bit down, but nonetheless, thank you to those who did come out and made the effort to attend.

Next month I will be absent from the monthly meeting on a family holiday. This will also mean the Peter Brock Memorial Cruise will need to be pushed back a week, now running at 3pm on Saturday the 10th of September. I am hoping we can incorporate a feed at the end of it, possibly at somewhere like Alfred’s Kitchen.

As we’ve heard from Ross, there are a couple of Targa Events going on in September, some that involve static car displays, so I will be setting up displays for those events, or just one of, depending on how much interest there is and weather depending of course.

Joondalup Festival of Motorsport event has gone live on Facebook, so if you’re keen to come along and display your car, please register via the Facebook event

The Dyno Day is still booked in for 22nd of October, Chantelle is handling all of that, so for more details, speak to her.

We also have the South West Trip 2 booked in for the first weekend of November 5 and 6. We are going to be staying at the Ace Motel in Albany. Accommodation is ready to book, so call up or email the manager (email address on the facebook event) and book your accommodation. Don’t forget to mention you’re part of the HSV Owners Club.

November 13th will be the GM Owners Day. This will be a club sanctioned show event and we will hopefully have a great showing of a variety of cars from our club members. Keep your eyes peeled for more on this event.
