The following is a checklist for all entrants to HSV Owners Club of WA events to ensure they comply with all requirements on the day.
(Licenses can no longer be issued by the club on the day - See here for letter from AASA)
(Must have no marks/nicks etc in gel coat) (no MotoX helmets allowed)
(Must be mounted on metal bracket)
(Must be less than 3 years old )
We can provide/install Brackets and Extinguishers for VX, VE & VF Commodore / HSVs - See here for options
Under AASA Tow Points / Stickers are not required, however events run under Motorsport Australia (CAMS) SPEED you will need at least a Tow Sticker to indicate a "point" at which a tow strap can be used to recovery a vehicle from a Sand Trap. Ideally a TOW STRAP/POINT should be made available, however unlike most European cars, the Australia cars tend not to have such a screw in Tow Point in their bumpers. Speak to Club Officials regarding options for your vehicles if you would like to have a TOW STRAP/POINT on your vehicle.
These are available for purchase from the club at 3 dollars.
