Hi All
Round 4 has just been run and won and is our last run at Wanneroo for a while. The day started out bitterly cold and wet with a good dose of fog thrown in. Not great for setting fast laptimes but everyone braved the wintery conditions and got out there.
The sun appeared and the track soon dried enough for the times to start tumbling just before lunch. Chad Reeves was very determined to set a 62sec laptime and he finally achieved that lofty goal - awesome effort Chad. Another stand out was Darren Holmes who continues to impress in the Clubsport, an impressive 66sec lap and home before 1.00pm good going Daz.
The next couple events are going to be run by the WRX Club so keep an eye on our website for instructions on how to enter Rounds 5 and 6. July is the speed dome sprint which has been outlined previously, a fun, slower speed event and suitable for everyone to have a go.
Round 6 in August is at Jack's Hillclimb at the Wanneroo Raceway precinct, once again, keep an eye on the club website for entry details, this is another lower speed event suitable for all makes and models.
